Further Information:
Frequent bugs oftrn found plants of the Apiaceae family such as Ferula communis (Giant fennel), Foeniculum vulgare (Anise) and Ridolfia segatum (False fennel). Aposematic red-and-black markings indicate its foul taste, and so this species is avoided by birds and other insectivores. It measures 9-11 mm.
